Reimo Hammerberg is a partner and head of the Banking, Finance & Insurance Practice Group in Estonia, which includes the Banking, Project Finance & PPP, Capital Markets, Financial Services & Regulation, Investment Funds, Insurance and Structures & Pensions Practice Areas. On a partnership level, Reimo is regionally responsible for marketing and business development issues.

Reimo has been practising law since 2001 and has extensive work experience in the Estonian banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital and capital markets sector, regularly advising on landmark transactions. His specialisations also include project financing and public private partnerships (PPP), in particular advising the largest PPP projects in Estonia and lecturing on the topic at the Faculty of Law of Tartu University. Reimo possesses unique know-how in market abuse issues and other complex financial disputes and has advised on all serious market manipulation disputes in Estonia. He also regularly advises issuers of structured notes/bonds and providers of financial and insurance services.
