SORAINEN advises “Investor of the year”

Western Union, a leader in global money movement and payment services, was recently awarded as "Investor of the year" for establishing a global services centre in Lithuania. The award, by leading Lithuanian business magazine Verslo žinios, was presented at the Business leaders of Lithuania contest, organised for the first time in Lithuania at the end of June 2011.

Western Union, assisted by the SORAINEN team, established its global services centre in Vilnius, officially opened in May 2011. Within its first half year of operations Western Union employed close to 300 personnel in Lithuania – today the total number exceeds 500.
