Mari Haamer is an associate specialising primarily in dispute resolution.

Mari has experience in European Union law matters. She has completed a five-month traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels. In addition, she represented the University of Tartu at the prestigious European Law Moot Court, where her team was ranked among the top four at the regional final.

Mari has worked as a legal trainee at the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Estonia, Harju County Court, the Office of the Chancellor of Justice and Tartu City Government. She has complemented her knowledge as an exchange student at the University of Vienna and in the Salzburg Summer School of European Private Law. During her studies, Mari participated in the Estonian Moot Court, where her team won both the oral and the written rounds.

 Mari is one of the co-authors of the commented version of the Law of Obligations Act. She wrote her master’s thesis in the field of intellectual property, analysing the possibilities for contesting licence fees set by collective management organizations.
