Experience

Jānis Līkops, a senior associate, has been practising law since 2002.

Jānis's main areas of expertise include real estate & construction, consumer protection, restructuring & insolvency and debt collection. He has advised on legal issues related to residential and commercial (industrial) projects, including forestry, commercial leases, maintenance, real estate division, sales and residential tenancy relations. Jānis has also advised on matters related to debt collection, legal restructuring and insolvency of legal and natural persons. Previously, he was an associate with a leading law firm in Latvia and also headed the legal division at the Consumer Rights Protection Centre.
