Sabīne Vuškāne is a senior associate with over 12 years’ experience in taxation, specialising in VAT. She started her career in the Ministry of Finance and later moved to Deloitte. Sabīne specialises in tax advisory services primarily related to tax planning and optimisation, compliance, audit and litigation.

Sabīne is co-author of the Latvian Tax Handbook, published and quarterly updated by the biggest Latvian business newspaper Dienas Bizness in cooperation with Deloitte Latvia.

She has prepared and given different training courses on VAT – been a visiting lecturer at the Riga Graduate School of Law and the Latvian Judicial Training Centre, and undertaken training and seminars for clients and audit professionals.
