Experience

Marina focuses on intellectual property and has strong background in commercial contracts and competition law.

Marina leads Sorainen Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Sector Group in Belarus and also advises clients from IT, HoReCa and other industries in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters. Marina’s contentious experience includes representing clients before the Appellate Board of Belarus patent authority, handling disputes arising from Belarus Customs Registry of Intellectual Property, and combatting parallel import. Marina’s non-contentious experience includes IP due diligence, handling trademarks portfolio and various IP agreements (licenсes, transfers, NDAs, franchising, etc.).

Marina is regularly engaged in drafting/localising and enforcing complex international and domestic contracts, consulting on competition matters and advising on pharma-specific issues, such as interactions with HCPs, regulatory data protection, clinical trials and IIS, registration, patients’ data protection, etc.

Marina holds a qualification from the Belarusian Ministry of Justice to provide legal services.
