Partner Kęstutis Švirinas heads the Sorainen Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Lithuania, which includes the Dispute Resolution, Government Relations & Administrative Law, Public Procurement, Restructuring & Insolvency and White-Collar Investigation Practice Areas. He has been practising law since 1995.

Kęstutis is one of the four lawyers in dispute resolution in Lithuania who earned the highest ranking from international legal directory Chambers Global (2013). In the past five years alone he has represented clients or acted as arbitrator in disputes with a total value of over EUR 434 million. He also has experience in international investment disputes and at the European Court of Justice. Kęstutis is prominent in commercial arbitration, having arbitrated in more than 40 proceedings at the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration, the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and other arbitration institutes abroad as well as in ad hoc arbitration. Kęstutis is included in lists of arbitrators of the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration, the International Commercial Court of Arbitration under the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, and the Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Moldova.

Kęstutis also advises and represents clients in economic crime-related matters in criminal cases relating to property, financial, intellectual property and other crimes.

Within his professional career Kęstutis has worked with the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice, The State Commercial Bank of Lithuania and DNB Bank (previously DnB NORD Bank). In the last 12 years Kęstutis worked at one of the leading law firms in Lithuania where he held the position of managing partner for five years.
