The VII Belarusian Investment Forum took place in Minsk on 15-16 November 2012 with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus in attendance. With the support of SORAINEN Belarus, forum guests were presented with a review on the economic and investment climate – Belarusian Investment Guide 2012.

The Belarusian Investment Forum provided participants from dozens of countries with detailed and reliable information about the considerable investment potential of the country, including the opportunities offered by the newly created Common Economic Space of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. This year the Belarusian Investment Forum was updating its format. The event was held in the form of round table discussions conducted by independent moderators, all leading international experts in their fields.

Forum 2012 goals:

  • to present investment opportunities, newly-available in Belarus, and specific investment proposals;
  • to consider suggestions and recommendations for potential foreign investors;
  • to attract investment into the innovative economy.

For the first time this year the forum included a Startup Day, allowing young entrepreneurs to present their startup projects and business plans to potential investors.

The presentation of Belarusian capital investment opportunities took place during the Minsk Investment Day and the Foreign Investment Advisory Council’s session on 15 November.

Participation in the VII Belarusian Investment Forum was free of charge for foreign guests.
