In cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia, the Ministry of Justice organised the annual Commercial Law Conference, held this year on 30 May. The conference aims at analysing topical industry issues through discussions among representatives of various fields that are daily related to aspects of commercial law, as well as at determining the main commercial law problems and their possible solutions.

The Commercial Law Conference was opened by the Minister of Justice Jānis Bordāns. Various practitioners of commercial law, the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia and representatives of the Ministry of Justice spoke at the conference. SORAINEN was represented at the conference by senior associate Zane Bule, who spoke about “Shareholder's liability for company's obligations abroad. Aspects of theory.”

The conference was free of charge.
