On 26 September 2013, the European Commission Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry hosted the cross-border entrepreneurship seminar that addressed the issues of cross-border credit and claims management within the European Union (EU). This is one of a series of national events whose purpose was to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to increase their overall business efficiency and competitiveness. The content of the seminar helped to better understand what options are available to SMEs for successfully managing cross-border credit and for recovering cross-border payments.

Lecturers of the seminar were: Agris Repšs (SORAINEN), Aigars Kaugars and Anita Gleizde (Baltic Restaurants), Hugh Ward (Hugh J Ward & Co Solicitors).
