The Baltic Strategic Shared Services Conference for the first time officially brings to the region the “SSC’S 4 Strategic Pillars” concept during three days of high level networking, debate, experience sharing and learning opportunities. On 12-14 October 2016 Vilnius will welcome an international convention gathering top SSC managers from all around the CEE and Nordic Regions to share experience and discuss visions of where the sector should be going in the coming years.

Sorainen partner Algirdas Pekšys will moderate the opening panel on “Current State of SSCs in the Baltic Region and Around: Main Challenges, Trends and Predictions in a Fast Growing Market”. The opening session will provide a general overview of the main challenges faced by SSCs in the region, looking at global European trends to compare with and analyse the specificities of the market and its future evolution.

The Baltic Strategic Shared Services Conference will help SSC practitioners understand how to set up a long-term development strategy based on maximization of the four SSC strategic management pillars. These are: strategic governance, people management, process optimization, and technology integration. Thus the conference will cover timely topics around these lines.
