Restructuring corporate governance structure of potential Belarusian issuer in light of the requirements of the Warsaw Stock Exchange

Maksim Salahub, partner at Sorainen Belarus, on 19 April addressed to the audience of IPO training programme of School of Business and Management of Technology of BSU with presentation “Restructuring corporate governance structure of potential Belarusian issuer in light of the requirements of the Warsaw Stock Exchange”.

In his presentation, Maksim focused on the role of a collective executive body (board) in a public company, common approaches towards selection of its members, and criteria of independence for the independent directors.  He also offered to the audience an overview of recommendations and principles established by the Warsaw Stock Exchange in relation to the supervisory and executive boards of the issuers.

The program is implemented by School of Business and Management of Technology of BSU in cooperation with polish specialists of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and Belarusian law firms, commercial banks, broker companies, and state bodies.
