Zane Paeglīte, an associate, joined SORAINEN in 2004. Zane's key areas of expertise include company law, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions.  She advises clients on day-to-day corporate matters starting from company establishment and changes in corporate structure to liquidation and reorganisation. Another significant focus of her specialisation is cross-border mergers, as she was involved in structuring and implementing the very first cross-border merger cases advised by SORAINEN, thus also contributing to know-how of legal aspects of cross-border mergers. With her expertise Zane also supports the M&A and Private Equity Team, mainly in the pre-acquisition process.

Zane's previous experience is related to financial management and supervision at the Ministry of Welfare of the Republic of Latvia where she worked at the Department of Financial Management and to coordination of multilateral projects at the Ministry of Defence, Department of International Relations.
