Gerly Lõhmus is an associate, focusing primarily on banking-related matters. Before joining SORAINEN, Gerly interned at the Civil Chamber of the Estonian Supreme Court and Tartu County Court, also at the University of Tartu student law office, Ministry of Justice and Office of the Chancellor of Justice of Estonia. Prior to becoming a full-time member of the SORAINEN Banking & Finance Team, she was an intern with the firm’s Commercial Contracts Team.

Gerly has significant international educational experience. As a member of the University of Helsinki moot court team, she participated in the EMC2 moot court on world trade law in Germany, and as a member of the University of Tartu moot court team, and later as a coach of the team, in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Austria. At the University of Tartu Law Faculty Gerly has been teaching seminars in private international law.
