Paul Künnap, a senior associate, has been practising law since 2000.

Paul has advised clients mainly in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and tax law related matters, but also has extensive knowledge in real estate and construction law.  He has advised companies in acquisitions and joint ventures, taking part in all stages of the transaction: negotiating letters of intent, conducting legal due diligences, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and finally assisting with both closing and post-closing matters to ensure smooth integration. Paul has been involved in many transactions involving the food, energy, technology and real estate sectors. He is particularly experienced in setting up joint ventures with international components. In the field of taxation law he has advised on cross-border situations, helping with tax planning of trading companies, investment houses and high net worth individuals in addition to assisting with tax aspects of M&A cases. His particular experience in Finnish law makes him particularly suited for cases involving Finland and other countries sharing elements of the Nordic legal tradition.

Paul is a recommended practitioner for tax practice in Estonia in The Legal 500, which praised his "professional attitude", and in the Tax Directors Handbook.
