Alexey Anischenko is a partner and regional head of the Commercial Contracts Team, which includes the Distribution & Trade, Intellectual Property, Information Technology & Data Protection, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences and Telecommunications Practices. He is also head of the Dispute Resolution Team in Belarus, which includes the Dispute Resolution, Public Procurement and Transport & Maritime Practices; and the Insurance Team in Belarus. He has been practising law since 1999.

Alexey's wide dispute resolution practice comprises client representation in commercial arbitration and litigation in Belarus with particular focus on international trade, administrative and corporate disputes. He often acts as counsel for Belarusian private and state-owned companies in dispute resolution matters outside Belarus. In his mergers & acquisitions and corporate work, Alexey has mainly been advising foreign companies and banks on their investments in Belarus since investment in Belarus began in 2006. He also offers extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in trade, distribution, services and construction.

Alexey was awarded a law degree with honours from the Belarusian State University, where he is now a senior lecturer at the Department of Private International and European Law. He regularly speaks and contributes to publications on dispute resolution and corporate matters both in Belarus and abroad. Alexey is on the List of Recommended Arbitrators of the International Arbitration Court of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI). He also acted as the General Advisor to the Economic Court of Commonwealth of Independent States in its case on interpretation of the Agreement for Cooperation in the Area of Investment Activity dated 24 December 1993 related to application of measures of investment protection.
