Maksim Salahub is a partner and head of regional Privatisation Team, Restructuring & Insolvency Team and the Corporate Advisory Team in Belarus, which includes the Corporate, Employment, and Investment Incentives Practices. He is also head of the Competition & Regulatory Team in Belarus, which includes the Competition, Energy & Utilities and Infrastructure & Regulatory Practices; and of the Tax & Customs Team. Maksim has been practising law since 2001. He was office managing partner with SORAINEN Belarus from when the office was established in 2008 until 2011.

Maksim has significant experience in legal support in cross-border M&A transactions and privatisations in the complex Belarusian legal environment, especially in due diligence of Belarusian enterprises, elaborating corporate structures, rendering transaction advice to clients and a full array of legal advice to foreign investors regarding their Belarus ventures. In his practice, Maksim has advised international financial institutions, transnational corporations and prominent foreign investors venturing into Belarus.
