Dear clients and cooperation partners,
For the Sorainen IT & Telecoms team, 2009 has been an exciting and demanding year – a year that has generally revitalised old concepts such as “efficiency”, “innovation”, and “seeking mind” behind entrepreneurship.
Instead of widespread gloom, we have been lucky to see our clients launching new services, new products, and conquering new markets. This has led our advice as far afield as the Mediterranean and the Middle East. We have been thrilled waiting for NASDAQ to publish important settlements which our clients have worked for. We are helping a global ICT giant in getting its merger cleared in the European Commission. It is a year to remember.
The New Year is destined to be far from boring. Those who have survived have seen that success in ICT comes from great ideas and novel approaches that demand a great deal of work. Additional pressure on the telecoms sector is coming from DG Competition in its continuing pursuit of more competition. Many global giants are expected to try to repeat their global success in our region. VOIP and private network solutions are here to bury classical telecom models. The future is unclear, but ICT and the novel ways in which it is used will undoubtedly continue to challenge traditional jurisprudence.
Yet 2009 has reconfirmed that the Sorainen IT & Telecoms team can take all the challenges coming from advising our global and local IT and telecoms clients.
