Eurovia – a subsidiary of VINCI, a world leader in transport infrastructure construction and urban development, operating in 15 countries and with 38,000 employees – has acquired 68.75% shares in Saldus ceïinieks, a leading Latvian builder of road infrastructure. Saldus ceïinieks, established in 1991, specialises in road construction, extraction of aggregates and asphalt production. The company employs over 350 people and owns asphalt production factories and laboratories in Talsi, Broceni and Jekabpils. The acquisition of Saldus celinieks strengthens Eurovia’s presence in the Baltic States, where the market for work on transport infrastructure is intensely dynamic.

Sorainen performed legal due diligence of Saldus celinieks and its subsidiaries, assisted the client in the share acquisition process by providing advice on Latvian law, drafting transaction documents and concluding agreements.
