Programme for 2024–2025
The core theme of this year’s Sorainen Student Academy is innovation – a key pillar of our firm’s culture. Our culture of innovation is integrated into our DNA. Others might talk a lot about AI, or how the latest legal tools will impact the work of lawyers in the future, but at Sorainen, we don’t just talk about it; we actually do it every day.
This year’s Sorainen Student Academy seamlessly integrates innovation, throughout the entire programme. In addition to introducing students to various legal fields, we will also showcase the innovative approaches being implemented, explore cutting-edge legal tools and trends, and discuss how innovation and law intersect.
Selected participants will have access to:
- engaging local workshops dedicated to specific legal fields. These interactive sessions are packed with practical examples, valuable legal insights, and real-life experiences from practicing lawyers
- a regional workshop focused on the main theme for the year
- an optional regional project involving collaborative teamwork between students from all three Baltic countries. The regional project includes court simulations, negotiation exercises, client representation, and provision of legal services
- networking opportunities with top legal professionals and like-minded peers, both locally and regionally
Benefits of Sorainen Student Academy:
- immersion in the legal profession and various areas of law
- practical legal knowledge provided in an interactive format
- expansion of your professional network both locally and regionally: by building important professional contacts, meeting like-minded peers, and creating a network to power your future career
- familiarity with Sorainen’s professional culture
- internship opportunities for the top students at their local Sorainen office
