We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative and business-minded Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the evolution and execution of Sorainen’s firmwide technology strategy and innovation – connecting technology, business and people across the Baltics.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Own and drive Sorainen’s firmwide technology strategy, turning ideas into actionable and practical outcomes setting clear priorities and ensuring that the capabilities required to succeed are in place.
  • Advise firm leadership and the Board on technology opportunities, risks and strategic choices in a clear, business-oriented way, ensuring technology investments deliver real business value.
  • Lead innovation and adoption of technology across the firm, including AI and automation, ensuring that we move innovation from pilots to everyday practice in order to strengthen end-to-end service delivery.
  • Build and lead a high performing, unified technology function across the Baltics, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a portfolio level view of technology investments, enabling informed prioritisation and value realisation across all technology domains.
  • Shape Sorainen’s data and AI capability, from strategy and platforms development to responsible deployment and governance.
  • Establish and mature structured service delivery practices: SDLC, DevOps methodologies where relevant, ensure services are stable, well-documented and scalable.
  • Provide executive oversight of service stability, major incidents, risks management and information security, acting as a trusted escalation point and partnering closely with the CISO.

To succeed in this role you need

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in senior technology leadership roles, translating business strategy into impactful technology outcomes.
  • Strong strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to prioritise, decide and lead change in complex settings.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high performing teams, introducing industry best practices.
  • Executive level communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including Board level collaboration.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

The salary range for this position is EUR 8,000–12,000 gross.
Final salary offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies and professional experiences.
