What data do Sorainen collect and how is it used?

When you apply for the Shared Mission programme on behalf of your company or as a sole proprietor, we collect and process your name, surname, mobile number and e-mail address, and any other information that you provide to us which may include or constitute personal data.

We will process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests to effectively manage the Shared Mission programme, to analyse submissions in order to determine which applicants fit the programme’s criteria, and to contact the applicants.

If your company is chosen for the Shared Mission programme, we will process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests to prepare the contract between your company and us.

If you as a sole proprietor is chosen for the Shared Mission programme, the processing of your personal data is necessary to prepare the contract between you and us.

Once we have prepared a contract with your company or you as a sole proprietor, our Privacy Notification for Clients applies, which is available here.

If you do not provide the requested data, we may not be able to analyse your submission for the Shared Mission programme and contact you accordingly, and ultimately prepare a contract with you or your company, where relevant.

Who may access your data

Your personal data may be disclosed:

  • to Sorainen employees and lawyers at Sorainen offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania who are in contact with you or who are responsible for marketing;
  • to Sorainen third party service providers, including marketing firms, information technology service providers, auditing firms and others, as far as necessary to manage our marketing communications.

How long does Sorainen store data?

We will process your personal data during the period of implementation of the Shared Mission programme and for 3 months thereafter.

Where we have concluded a contract with your company or you as a sole proprietor, we store your personal data for a longer period of time as described in our Privacy Notification for Clients.

Your rights and how you may exercise them

By contacting Sorainen via e-mail at privacy@sorainen.com, you may exercise your right:

  • to require access to your personal data;
  • to require rectification of your personal data;
  • to require erasure of your personal data;
  • to withdraw consent to processing of your personal data, where applicable;
  • to receive your personal data and transmit those data to another controller, subject to certain conditions (right to data portability).

In some cases you may have a right to request a restriction on processing your personal data or to object to processing of your personal data.

You may exercise your rights in line with the requirements of applicable EU and local laws.

If personal data is erased at your request, Sorainen will only retain such copies of the information as are necessary to protect our or third party’s legitimate interests, comply with governmental orders, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce any agreement you have entered into with Sorainen.

Right to lodge a complaint
