Shared Mission

The application period for Shared Mission 2025 is now open!

We annually allocate over EUR 100,000 for Shared Mission and other pro bono initiatives, giving free legal advice to selected companies, non-profits and initiatives.

The application deadline is 13 June 2025, but we encourage those interested to apply earlier for their projects.

All applicants will be contacted in July to confirm whether their application has been selected for further participation in the project. Project implementation will begin in the autumn.

Key information for applicants

What projects are we supporting in 2025?

We invite applications from the defence and security sector, and from those working on strengthening crisis preparedness and societal resilience in other sectors. We welcome projects and initiatives:

  • innovating in defence and security technology
  • engaged in international and cross-border collaboration, working on collective defence and intelligence
  • specialising in public safety and crisis management, including crisis logistics and infrastructure resilience
  • focused on mental health and psychological resilience
  • from other Baltic players with the ambition to innovate and ensure that critical infrastructure is secure, and that society remains functional during a crisis

Applicants from all types of organisational structures, including private companies such as startups, industry associations, NGOs, government agencies and municipalities, are encouraged to apply.

Projects can be either local or international.

What do we offer?

We provide assistance on all legal and tax matters. The selected participants will receive an agreed number of pro bono hours that can be used for legal services except for disputes.

The Shared Mission programme provide access to high-quality legal expertise for initiatives that strengthen defence, emergency readiness, and community safety – without a financial burden, which might be difficult to carry for most of them.

By receiving tailored legal support in areas such as regulatory compliance, government contracting, export controls, IP protection, and corporate governance, participants are better equipped to navigate complex legal environments and grow responsibly. The selected projects will receive an agreed number of pro bono hours that can be used for legal services, excluding disputes.

This support will help to accelerate impact, operational readiness, and stakeholder confidence, while removing the legal barriers that can hinder progress. Our goal is to empower those working to make the Baltics safer and more resilient, so they can focus on what matters most.
