Conference “QC Roadshow Estonia”
On November 7th, the Radisson Collection Hotel hosted the mini-conference “QC Roadshow Estonia”, which focused on methods and concerns for ensuring the quality of laboratory research.
Key topics included EU regulations for medical devices, the importance of quality control statistics, EQA (External Quality Assessment), and personal experiences from laboratory professionals on maintaining quality standards.
The event was organised by Surgitech, a company that distributes laboratory equipment, in collaboration with Randox, whose product range includes third-party control materials and the quality control software Acusera 24.7.
Our counsel, Lise-Lotte Lääne, gave a lecture on the in vitro diagnostic regulation (IVDR) at the conference. Members of the Estonian Society for Laboratory Medicine (Eesti Laborimeditsiini Ühing) also gave presentations.
