Join Us at TechChill 2026

Place: Hanzas perons
Time: March 26-27, 2026

TechChill is the leading startup and tech event in the Baltics, bringing together founders, investors and ecosystem players from across the region and beyond. At TechChill 2026, Sorainen will take part in several ways – offering hands‑on legal support for startups, an interactive IP game, and contributing to the main stage programme.

With 300+ lawyers and tax specialists supporting clients across all business law and tax matters throughout the Baltic region, Sorainen has extensive experience advising startups and investors. Our team has supported more than half of the unicorn‑making deals in the Baltics, working with companies from early stages through growth and international expansion.

Pop‑up Legal Clinic at TechChill

During TechChill 2026, startups are invited to sign up for the Sorainen Pop‑up Legal Clinic and book a pro bono session of up to one hour with our startup experts Ramona MiglāneJānis Sarāns‑Reneslācis, Edgars Hercenbergs and Zanda Frišfelde.

These one‑on‑one sessions are designed to provide practical, tailored guidance on legal and tax questions relevant to growing companies – whether related to fundraising, scaling, regulatory matters or day‑to‑day legal challenges. Participation in the legal clinic is free of charge, but advance registration is required.

Find out your IP Health

Startups visiting the Sorainen booth are also invited to take part in our interactive IP game.

By taking a short quiz, founders can find out their IP health and get a quick insight into whether their startup has sufficient intellectual property protection in place. The game helps identify potential gaps and risks, offering a useful starting point for conversations about IP strategy as the business grows or prepares for investment.

Sorainen on the TechChill stage

On 27 March , from 11:50 to 12:20, our partner Ramona Miglāne will moderate a fireside chat on the Founders Stage – “Behind the First MiCA License in Latvia.” The session explores how BlockBen became the first crypto‑asset service provider in Latvia to receive a MiCA license – a milestone enabling the company to provide, store and trade crypto‑assets, as well as offer, list and transfer utility tokens across the European Union. Together with Viktor Bodnar, Chairperson of the Management Board of BlockBen, the discussion will look at how MiCA is reshaping financial services regulation by placing crypto businesses on the same footing as banks, investment firms and payment institutions.

See you at TechChill

Whether you are looking for practical legal advice, checking the strength of your IP, or gaining insights into how regulation is shaping the future of financial services, we look forward to meeting founders and investors at TechChill 2026 and supporting the next generation of Baltic growth stories.
