Sorainen Business Talks: Welcome to the Metaverse
We invite you to online Sorainen Business Talks on 7 September 2022 from 4 – 5.40 pm, taking on one of the most exciting, confusing and suspicious-sounding current topics: the metaverse.
Watch the recording of the event
By 2026, according to research firm Gartner, a quarter of the global population will spend at least an hour a day in the metaverse for work, education or play. Within the next four years, Gartner predicts 30% of all organisations in the world will have products and services ready for the metaverse, across sectors from retail to gaming and entertainment.
This emerging economy means that organisations, having already adapted their activities for the internet era, will need to pivot again from digital business to metaverse business. It’s what many are calling a transition from “web2” to “web3.”

So is the metaverse the next big thing that will change all our lives? Should we invest NOW, or is it just hype that will pass by, which you shouldn’t throw money at (or into)? Will Baltic companies use this opportunity to expand their businesses with the help of the new meta world?
