Professional highlights
Passion for the field. I developed an interest in criminal law even before starting my legal studies, and both my academic work and practical experience have only deepened that interest. I value delivering high-quality legal services, providing comprehensive client support, and effectively safeguarding clients’ interests in criminal proceedings. At Sorainen, I aim to learn from leading experts in the field and contribute to its development.
Broad professional experience. I have gained diverse experience through various internships to complement my academic knowledge and develop a well-rounded understanding of the legal landscape. Prior to joining Sorainen, I worked in the in-house legal team of a bank with Estonian roots, in the dispute resolution teams of two leading Estonian law firms, at the regional prosecutor’s office for economic and corruption offences, and at the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court. One of these internships also led to a role where I specialised in criminal law and criminal procedure.
Open and supportive communication. Clear and open communication is one of the cornerstones of legal practice. I therefore value a transparent and straightforward communication style that helps ensure smooth, positive, and effective collaboration with colleagues.
