EU public procurement reforms, together with the evolving practice of supervisory authorities and courts, are fundamentally reshaping the approach to the application of financial corrections.

The conference will address the most topical issues related to financial corrections in public procurement, ranging from changes in EU regulation and the practical experience of CPO.LT to the positions adopted by the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania.

Particular attention will be paid to the substance of the principle of transparency, the identification of the essence of infringements, and the justification of financial corrections. The programme will also include examples from Latvian practice, enabling a comparison of different approaches and an assessment of their practical implications.

Sorainen will be represented in the conference programme by partner Kazimieras Karpickis, senior associate Katrīne Pļaviņa-Mika (Latvia), counsel Dr Edgaras Markevičius and senior associate Mario Sõrm (Estonia).

The event is intended for representatives of contracting authorities, project implementers, and public procurement professionals.

The conference is organised by Mykolas Romeris University and the law firm Sorainen.
