About me

Right after receiving an LLM in law and economics, I joined the firm’s Competition & Regulatory team as a legal assistant. As a natural extrovert, I am skilled in advocacy and communication with a broad range of people. With an international educational background, I am adept at integrating in different cultures and circumstances.

Professional highlights

Competition law in the digital age. One of the biggest challenges for today’s competition law is the growing volume of digital technology and the increasingly global profile of commercial enterprises. For example, companies can now use specific technology for making cartel agreements, also known as “digital cartels”. This issue was also the subject of my master’s thesis: “Regulating Algorithmic Collusion: The Future of EU Competition Law”.

EU law. While working as a legal intern in France and Lithuania, I monitored and analysed EU legislation and other institutional developments. Participating in the European Youth Parliament and Model European Union ‒ where I assumed a leadership role over multiple sessions ‒ led to familiarity with the EU legislative process and institutional structures. As a strong supporter of the EU idea, I have long been motivated to be part of this unique project.

International educational background. I studied outside Lithuania for several years, starting with a bachelor’s degree in the south of France and the Erasmus exchange programme in the Netherlands, followed by master’s studies in Italy, Belgium and Israel. These studies provided a firm grounding in the economic analysis of law and public policy, with a focus on European law, company law, and competition law. That is why ‒ in addition to English and Lithuanian ‒ I am fluent in French and speak Italian, Spanish, and Russian at conversational level.
