About me

As a senior associate with the firm’s Corporate and M&A team, I focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for both local and international clients, as well as complex corporate assignments.

Professional highlights

Complex corporate assignments. I advise clients on establishing their business, choice of legal form, governance structure, representation rights, contribution to share capital, transformations of business structure – including mergers and demergers – conclusion of shareholders or option agreements and liquidations. One of the most challenging recent cases was the merger of two regulated businesses in Lithuania, where our team solved several issues related to not only corporate and tax law questions usually arising from merger processes, but also to licensing and permissions with the Gaming Control Authority operating under the Lithuanian Ministry of Finance.

M&A cases in multiple sectors. While specialising in working within the food, forestry and agriculture sectors, I also have experience in landmark M&A transactions involving clients from other sectors. I work with investors, target companies and sellers throughout both share and asset transactions, from legal due diligence to completion of the transaction.

Academic M&A knowledge. I have participated in M&A summer law schools in Istanbul and Bucharest, with the academic programme covering general M&A courses, case studies, negotiation workshops and final negotiation competitions. These courses provided a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge in M&A, especially improving skills in M&A negotiations.

Active in society. After graduating from high school, I had the opportunity to participate in the governmental project “Pupils go to Government”, which allows pupils to familiarise themselves with the country’s ministries. During this project I had the opportunity to familiarise with the Ministry of Justice. Following the project, I was elected to chair the participants’ selection board and have continued as an active alumna member of the project, helping young people gain a better understanding of the country’s government institutions and laws.
