About me
As an associate with the firm’s Tax team, I advise clients on various direct and indirect tax issues. I also prepare enquiries and requests to the State Tax Inspectorate for obtaining binding tax rulings.
Professional highlights
Experience at the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate. I gained practical tax law knowledge and representation experience while working in the Excise Duty Administration Department of the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate and the Appeals Division of the Legal Department. I represented the State Tax Inspectorate in the working groups of the European Commission on excise VAT issues, also participated in various working groups (including on binding decisions and elimination of double taxation) and represented the State Tax Inspectorate’s position in tax disputes in the pre-trial institution and courts, including the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Tax disputes. I have valuable experience in carrying out tax legal inspections and representing clients in complex tax disputes, where the rulings have contributed to the formation of case law in tax cases. The diverse experience allows me not only to successfully assess the needs of customers but also to offer the most rational solution in relation with the State Tax Inspectorate.
