I specialize in data protection and intellectual property law, with a strong focus on the TMT and life sciences industries. A wide range of competencies, customer focus and interest in innovation are the next-generation lawyer standards that guide me in my professional life.
Experience with the State Data Protection Inspectorate. During a major period of change – after the General Data Protection Regulation came into force – I interned at the Complaints Examination and International Cooperation Department of the State Data Protection Inspectorate. This unique experience provided me with valuable skills and knowledge that I now rely on when advising foreign and Lithuanian clients.
A wide range of competencies. In addition to a strong academic background, I continuously deepen my practical expertise in technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences. Prior to joining Sorainen, I worked on interdisciplinary projects in the fields of IT, applied creative work, project management, public relations and marketing. This experience helps me to understand internal corporate processes, speak the language of business and understand customer needs.
Focus on customer needs. Studying in Norway not only broadened my subject-specific competences in the field of intellectual property, but also introduced a Scandinavian pragmatic approach to legal services.
Interest in innovation. I am interested in applying the latest technologies and robotic process automation tools in my daily work. Among my main academic interests are the interaction between law and artificial intelligence, electronic contracts, regulatory issues and innovation in creative industries.
