Professional highlights

Intellectual property matters. My practice is mostly focused on issues related to trademarks (both national and international registrations), copyright (characters, software, photos, cinema, etc), licensing, assignment, franchise agreements and customs registration.

Pharmaceuticals & life sciences. As a team member, I have worked on several important cases concerning interactions with healthcare professionals and regulation of clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, marketing authorisation processes.

Trademark infringements. Working with the team on several important cases which seek to pursue trademark infringers, I have been engaged in preparing cease and desist letters, as well as communicating with infringers and administrators of advertising platforms, mass media and social networks.

All stages of franchising. Contributing to several landmark cases that provided full-scope support to a client changing its franchise network, I was engaged at all stages – developing strategy, localising the set of underlying agreements, coordinating the counterparties, and handling registration of franchising with the local patent office.

Objecting to pirate trademark registrations. I have participated in several cases related to pursuing trademark pirates, from preparing letters of claim to preparing claims and clarifications for the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus.

Sorainen Ambassador. On a regular basis I support employer branding initiatives and participate in events arranged for students (Sorainen Student Academy, Shadow Week, giving presentations at universities), where I speak on different topics, including intellectual property.
