Fund Structuring & Asset Management

We have had the opportunity to advise on many groundbreaking fund structuring activities in the Baltics, such as the first time in Estonia that management of investments was transferred from a public sector organisation to a private fund manager. This included structuring and preparing the selection procedure for the current direct investment portfolio for the private fund manager, as well as advising on complex issues of public procurement, state aid and fund regulation, as well as matters related to share option programmes. We also have experience of modifying a fund management company licence to make it an alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) licence, and providing full support to Northern Horizon Capital in establishing a new publicly listed evergreen closed-ended real estate fund, the Baltic Horizon Fund.
