I am head of the Finance & Insurance team in Estonia. While primarily specialising in capital markets, I have also been involved in most of our team’s fintech and cryptocurrency related mandates. I also enjoy working with ESG matters, as it impacts a lot on where and how investments are made.
Public offerings. I have advised clients in connection with raising capital throughout the process, including prospectus drafting and registering with the Estonian Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority, as well as advising on corporate governance, disclosure and listing. I also act as an adviser for First North alternative market operated by Nasdaq Baltic stock exchanges, assisting clients in all legal aspects related to admission to trading on First North.
Market abuse and disclosure advice. I advise clients on disclosure and market abuse regulation and assist with establishing the required internal procedures and related training.
Capital market diagnostics. I contributed to the Estonian capital market diagnostics project carried out by the consultation company Civitta Eesti. The aim of the project was to assess the current status of the capital market ecosystem and conduct a gap analysis to identify barriers to development as well as potential improvement levers.
Bond issues. I am involved in the majority of bond issues that our team is working on, concerning both listed and unlisted bonds.
