Insurance claims handling and disputes. I have extensive experience in handling complex liability claims, as well as assessing the validity of insurance coverage and the substantiation of losses. I advise clients on various types of insurance, including professional liability, employer’s liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, general liability, construction mandatory insurance, suretyship, cargo insurance, CMR insurance, and cyber risk insurance.

Regulatory compliance, insurance, and financial sector advisory. I advise insurance and financial sector companies on regulatory compliance matters, helping to ensure that their operations meet supervisory authority requirements.

Experience in the insurance sector. Before joining Sorainen, I worked as an in-house lawyer at insurance companies – there, I was responsible for handling complex liability claims, subrogation claims, dispute resolution, international sanctions risk management, and employment law matters. I represented the insurance company in court proceedings, reviewed and prepared responses to client complaints, and contributed to the development of insurance product terms and conditions.

This experience enables me to understand the business specifics of the insurance sector and to provide clients with comprehensive assistance in regulatory, claims handling and dispute resolution contexts.

Technology and innovation integration in insurance. I maintain a keen interest in artificial intelligence, technology developments and employment law trends. This enables me to advise clients based on the latest business practices and to provide innovative solutions, for example, regarding employers’ liability insurance, cyber risk insurance products, claims processes for these products and related regulatory aspects.
