In the recently released Chambers Europe 2024 rankings, Sorainen improved its rankings in two categories and secured top-category rankings for all our teams in the Baltics.

Sorainen earned Band 1 rankings from Chambers in 16 fields across the Baltic States in 2024. Furthermore, with two teams improving their rankings this year – Dispute Resolution in Latvia and Tax in Estonia – Sorainen stands out as the strongest law firm in the Baltic market, being the only firm with all its teams ranked solely in the highest positions, Band 1 and Band 2.

Sorainen office leaders recognised as Eminent Practitioners

Across the firm, our lawyers received 53 individual rankings in the Chambers Europe Guide, highlighting them as market-leading experts. Saulė Dagilytė, country managing partner at the Lithuanian office (for Tax); and Kaupo Lepasepp, country managing partner at the Estonian office (for Competition/Antitrust and Intellectual Property) have been recognised as Eminent Practitioners, joining senior partner Aku Sorainen, who has previously been recognised for the Corporate/ Commercial field in Estonia.

Our two lawyers in Estonia received new individual rankings: partner Kadri Härginen for Employment and senior associate Olivia Kranich for Intellectual Property.

Nine colleagues improved their place in the rankings, including partners Augustas Klezys, Monika Mališauskaitė-Vaupšienė, Mantas Petkevičius, Indrė Ščeponienė and counsel Jurgita Karvelė in Lithuania; and partner Nauris Grigals in Latvia; as well as partner Piret Jesse and counsels Pirkko-Liis Harkmaa and Piibe Lehtsaar in Estonia.
