Intellectual Property protection. I consider the systematic and strategic protection of intellectual property rights to be essential. I advise clients on the registration of trademarks and industrial designs, as well as on the management of such registrations. I also assist in structuring and assessing legal relationships involving copyright, including ensuring that ownership and use of rights are clearly defined in agreements. I further support clients in matters concerning the assignment and licensing of intellectual property rights. In addition, I advise on infringements involving counterfeit and pirated goods, cases of unfair competition, and issues related to the lawfulness of comparative advertising.

Intellectual Property disputes. I represent clients in intellectual property disputes, including those involving trademarks, designs, and copyright. I advise clients on enforcing their rights and developing dispute strategies. I have also handled domain name disputes, including, together with Carri Ginter, representing the President of Estonia in a dispute to recover a domain name containing the President’s full name. In addition, I advise and represent clients in patent disputes, particularly in matters related to medical sector patents.

Film and music. I have a particular interest in the film and music industries and advise clients in these sectors on a broad range of legal matters. My work covers film projects from start to finish, including advising on financing structures, drafting and negotiating agreements, providing guidance on rebate schemes, and structuring revenue allocation models.

Life Sciences and healthcare. I have in‑depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, as well as of the healthcare and life sciences sectors more broadly. I advise clients on regulatory matters, including market access, clinical trials, marketing authorisations, and compliance requirements. I also assist in drafting and negotiating sector-specific agreements and in assessing risks related to intellectual property and data protection. In addition, I advise clients on industry-specific advertising restrictions, liability issues, and interactions with regulatory authorities.

Commercial contracts. I have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating both standard and more complex commercial contracts governing specific legal relationships. I advise clients on confidentiality, collaboration, service, franchise, and consortium agreements, as well as on terms of use and privacy policies.
