About me

I primarily assist lawyers in cases related to contract law, intellectual property and data protection. In addition, I assist lawyers in court disputes in both civil and administrative matters.

According to Art. 40 (3) of the Bar Association Act, legal assistants do not provide legal services. Legal assistants are assisting the attorneys.

Professional highlights

Contracts and GDPR. I have assisted lawyers with sales and services contracts, and with drafting and finalising contracts regulating intellectual property rights and data protection. I have made a significant contribution to helping clients bring their activities into line with the new GDPR. I have also participated in projects conducting legal due diligence, assisting with issues concerning contract law, intellectual property and data protection.

Research and Supreme Court rulings. I have participated in projects researching issues of big data and data protection. I also monitor daily all the rulings of the Estonian Supreme Court and compile overviews on the rulings for the firm’s use, thereby contributing to our shared knowhow.

Contributing to dispute resolution. Having key experience in bankruptcy proceedings, I have assisted lawyers in disputes in both civil and administrative matters. As a member of a human rights group, I draft claims under the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and research the settled case-law of the European Court of Human Rights.
