Professional highlights

Dispute resolution. Representing clients in court, elaborating on litigation strategies, and drafting procedural documents is my daily life and work that I enjoy dearly.

International arbitration proceedings. I believe that courts of arbitration are the most suitable venue for resolving of international disputes that the parties cannot solve by way of negotiations. During my studies, I participated as a team member of the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia in Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Since then, my interest in international arbitration proceedings (in particular, regarding protection of foreign investment) has significantly grown. In addition to my practical experience in this field, I keep upgrading my knowledge by participating in conferences and seminars and training students for participation in the international arbitration moot courts.

Administrative procedure law. The clients appreciate that I feel really comfortable in the administrative procedure law. I have successfully represented clients from a wide range of sectors in the State institutions and in courts of all instances. In-depth understanding of this area has played a large role in my practice, helping clients to solve matters related to pharmacy, tax, construction, and competition law.
