I am a member of the firm’s Tax team. Before that I was in the Corporate and M&A team, I assisted lawyers in a wide field including, but not limited to, corporate and employment law and M&A matters. I also specialise in European Union and international law.
According to Art. 40 (3) of the Bar Association Act, lawyers do not provide legal services. Lawyers are assisting the attorneys.
Remarkable internships. Prior to joining Sorainen I interned at Swedbank, where I assisted with private banking and international debt claims, got my first court experience and was involved in liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, I interned at Maxima Estonia, where I had a chance to assist the small legal team in dealing with large procurement contracts, civil tort cases, criminal cases, property and employment law-related issues. Before joining Sorainen Estonia as a legal assistant, I interned with the firm’s banking and finance team, where I was given a large think-tank “liquidation” task and a pan-European crypto-token project.
European Union law specialist. I have been involved in numerous Erasmus projects regarding European Union regulatory bodies and legislative capabilities. My Bachelor thesis was on the subject: Taxation of multinational corporations in the EU and third party States.
Eagerness to learn. I am an alumnus of the Sorainen Student Academy, where I participated in a moot court. During my bachelor studies I attended elective courses on insurance law.
