Professional highlights

Data protection. As GDPR implementation is slowly but surely changing every company’s attitude about personal data, I have successfully completed several compliance projects for companies in retail and wholesale, pharmaceuticals, finance and manufacturing. My everyday tasks include regular consultations for international companies on general documentary and procedural localization to meet local requirements.

Life Sciences & Healthcare. Initially, I assisted life sciences and healthcare sector companies in data protection issues, but quite soon this sector became one of my main focus areas. I advise sector clients on a wide spectrum of regulatory matters – from activity licensing analysis to identifying regulated procedures and assistance in implementing requirements.

Transport regulatory issues. For three years I worked at the Lithuanian Ministry of Transport and Communications, where my main responsibilities included drafting legislation regulating Klaipeda State Seaport as well as maritime and inland waterway transport. Although the lion’s share of my work concerned waterborne transport regulations, I was also responsible for implementing EU legislation and versatile projects related to other types of transport, allowing me to gain valuable skills in dealing with general transport regulatory issues.

General contract law. To maintain a sharp mind and avoid routine in narrow specialization, I regularly work on matters related to general contract law, including review and analysis of documents and identifying inadequacies and drafting amendments that best suit clients’ interests.
