I am a senior associate with the firm’s the Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Team. I specialise in EU support funds and public procurement, and represent client interests during legal proceedings and negotiations. I have a lot of experience in various civil and administrative disputes, so I am able to take a creative look at emerging issues and help clients achieve their desired goals.
EU support funds. I advise clients on legal disputes arising from the implementation of projects funded by EU funds. Such disputes mainly concern failure to achieve the indicators provided for in the financing agreement, non-compliance with public procurement requirements, or determining the level of financial corrections. I have contributed to the resolution of major disputes that have received public attention. In one of these, I represented a water management company in a case concerning the reimbursement of EUR 4 million of aid granted and used in the absence of project indicators. The decision to repay the aid was annulled by a final ruling by the court.
Public procurement. I represent contracting authorities and suppliers in disputes arising from public procurement. I also represent clients in cases concerning the execution of public contracts.
Administrative disputes. I advise clients on administrative cases in which individual administrative acts adopted by public administrative bodies administration are contested and compensation is claimed from the state and the municipality as a result of unlawful acts of public authorities.
Extensive experience in dispute resolution. I have gained extensive experience in advising clients before national courts, and in negotiating disputes on a wide range of issues, including compensation for damages; disputes arising during bankruptcy proceedings; shareholder disputes; and disputes regarding the execution, interpretation and termination of contracts.
