International automotive group Inchcape Motors acquired the assets of United Motors, becoming the exclusive distributor for BMW Group in Estonia.

The business acquired serves customers of BMW Group and KIA, employing more than 90 people at retail sites in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu and Kohtla-Järve.

The transaction received approval of the Estonian Competition Authority in June. The purchase price remains undisclosed.

Inchcape Motors Estonia OÜ is a distributor, retailer and repairer for Jaguar, Land Rover and Mazda passenger cars in Estonia. In addition to distribution and retail of these vehicles, Inchcape’s activities in Estonia also include body and paint works, retail and installing of spare parts and accessories as well as selling used vehicles of different brands.

United Motors AS is an automotive group whose main activity is distribution, retail and servicing of passenger cars and motorbikes. Since 2000, United Motors has been the exclusive distributor and retailer for BMW Group in Estonia. Since 2006, United Motors has also engaged in retailing of Kia vehicles.
