About me

As a real estate transaction counsel and member of our Real Estate & Construction team, my practice focuses on two areas: advising investors in complex local and cross-border real estate acquisitions and representing clients in negotiations for commercial property leases.

Professional highlights

Complete support in significant transactions. As our real estate transaction advisory practice is a market leader, I participate in the most significant real estate transactions in Lithuania as a team member. With in-depth knowledge of office, warehouse and retail real estate, I advise clients throughout the complete transactional cycle, including structuring transactions, performing legal due diligence, drafting documentation, representing clients in negotiations and supporting them in carrying out all relevant completion actions. I take all steps needed to ensure that my client’s business plans are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Transactional risk insurance. Involvement in the country’s largest real estate transactions has allowed me to develop a field of expertise that is rare in Lithuania: I am one of the few Lithuanian lawyers with significant knowledge and experience in transactional risk insurance products. These instruments are seldom used in the Baltics, but I strongly believe in the benefits they bring to transactional work and wish to contribute to developing this new industry in our region.

Expertise in commercial property leases. The market in commercial property leases is where long term relations are forged between landlords and tenants. Mostly representing the latter, I have negotiated the largest commercial lease transactions in Lithuania and am experienced with numerous types of leases of varying complexity, ranging from complex built-to-suit leases to more conventional long-term leases in existing office, retail and warehouse properties. Working on leases, I aim to help the parties create a legal framework for successful long-term business collaboration.

Constant and purposeful learning. I have chosen the path of a transactional counsel, which requires the lawyer to advise from both legal and business perspectives. In order to be able to provide valuable advice of such scope and to operate as a transactional adviser for clients, I continue my education in the fields of economics and finance.
