We advised the Ukrainian–Estonian startup Farsight Vision on its successful EUR 7.2 million seed round. The round was led by public safety technology leader Axon Enterprise, together with SmartCap, and joined by leading European defence investors.
Modernising global defence robotics and warfare capabilities
The funds raised in the seed round will be used to automate and validate defence robotic systems, advance electronic warfare capabilities, and build global partnerships to modernise defence doctrine.
“This investment marks an important milestone not only for our company,” said Viktoriia Yaremchuk, CEO and Co-founder of Farsight Vision. “It also strengthens the global presence of Ukrainian defence innovation and opens new paths to long-term international partnerships.”
Founded in 2023, Farsight Vision’s AI-driven intelligence tools are widely used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Its initial frontline mapping solutions have since evolved into a comprehensive geospatial intelligence platform that supports unmanned systems and battlefield robotics with up-to-date terrain data and situational awareness. The company has expanded rapidly, forming partnerships across several NATO countries in Europe and securing its first commercial contract in Asia.
