We advised the Estonian window and door manufacturer Viking Window on the acquisition of a 51% majority stake in the UK sales company Norrsken Company Limited.
Founded in 1996 in Mäo, Estonia, Viking Window a manufacturer of premium-quality wooden and aluminium-clad windows and doors – has taken a step that improves the availability on the British market of Nordic-quality window and door solutions. This move also aligns with the company’s strategic approach to international markets, focusing on building strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with local distributors.
The company already supplies products to Estonia, the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway and beyond.
A long-term partnership has evolved into strategic cooperation
The transaction marks a new milestone in the long-standing collaboration between the two companies.
“Viking Window and Norrsken have been partners for over 15 years. Norrsken is one of the best-known suppliers of energy-efficient wooden and aluminium-clad windows and doors in the UK, serving homeowners, architects, builders and developers,” said Tanel Kookmaa, member of the management board at Viking Window.
