About me

As the regional head of Sorainen’s Private Client team, I advise individuals and their families, helping them manage their assets with long-term goals in mind, plan their inheritance and invest in charity and art. As our firm’s “of counsel”, I have had the privilege of advising on the most exciting international and cross-border tax issues, including working on structures involving Asian, European and Latin-American countries. I have studied international tax law in Estonia, Germany and Austria and am advising clients since 2004.

Professional highlights

Representing private clients. I believe that caring for one’s property, its prudent management and investing will create value for everyone. I am sincerely happy to help clients with this. As an active art collector myself, I enjoy art, but am also no stranger to the complex legal and tax issues related to art transactions.

International background. I have worked in different jurisdictions and lived in several countries, which enables me to understand tax systems and business specifics on a national and global level alike. From challenging cross-border cases I would like to highlight advising a leading online service provider in determining the place of taxation, negotiating and settling novel tax issues with the authorities and avoiding double taxation.
