About me

As a senior associate with the firm’s Competition & Regulatory practice, I help clients in a broad spectrum of areas, including data protection and information technology law, competition law, distribution and trade, and life sciences & healthcare.

Professional highlights

Interest in data protection law. With a deep interest in data protection law, I have helped many clients achieve compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and national data protection law. I believe that businesses should be able to capture the value of data while protecting the fundamental rights of citizens, and I aim to help clients achieve that goal. I also defended my master’s thesis on the topic of processing health data for the use of innovative data analytics solutions in the healthcare sector.

Wide-ranging experience. Having started at the firm first as a trainee and then as a legal assistant, I have gained valuable experience in numerous complex cases, for example in regulatory compliance and trade regulation matters, drafting and implementing different trade agreements, and resolving related disputes.

Achievements as a student. During my studies I interned at the Prosecutor’s Office and at the legal clinic of the University of Tartu. In 2018, I was awarded 1st place in the XXI Estonian Moot Court Competition along with my team. In the following year I was a member of the organising committee of the competition and member of the board of the Estonian Moot Court Society. I am a graduate of the Sorainen Student Academy class of 2016/2017.
