We advised Koinveticinis fondas on investing in Ligence – a Lithuanian startup, which is developing an automated cardiac ultrasound diagnostic solution based on artificial intelligence. Koinvesticinis fondas together with Vladas Lašas and other members of the business angels network LitBan has invested EUR 360 000 in the startup.

The product will contribute to the fight against COVID-19

The product, developed by a team of 8 doctors, performs heart measurements and helps diagnose heart changes. Both developers and investors are confident that the tool, which facilitates the examination of cardiac ultrasound, will contribute to the fight against COVID-19.

Comments Viktorija Vaitkevičienė, head of Koinvesticinis fondas: “The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has forced the whole world to turn to medicine, which is why the artificial intelligence system developed by “Ligence” is especially important today in finding ways to treat the disease. This investment not only contributes to the improvement of human health or improvement of the medical system, but is also a big step towards progress.”
